Srinagar: Prominent youth pro-freedom leader Hilal Ahmad War Chairman of People’s Political Party while defying curfew has been injured in police action along with 15 other party activists.
The PPP Chief got succeeded in breaking the cordon and started marching towards Dastageer sahib Shrine and managed to reach along with procession up to Badshah chow from his Maisuma residence but police swung into action and ruthlessly Hilal Ahmad war ,his family members including elder brother , Jameel Ahmad War ( a veteran pro freedom activist and WISL leader) 
and 15 party activists been beaten miserably and Mr. War have been forcibly taken to his residence and put under house arrest. The Maisuma and adjoining areas were converted into a battle ground by the deployment of heavy contingent of Police and paramilitary forces but caravan of PPP freedom activists led by its chairman, were succeeded in defying the curfew orders .
