Varanasi, Aug 4 The district court here on Thursday fixed August 18 as the next date of hearing after the counsels of Muslim side sought time to study the documents related to a plea seeking daily worship at the Mata Shringar Gauri Sthal inside Gyanvapi complex.
The counsels of the Muslim side moved an application before the court of District Judge Ajay Krishna Vishvesha and informed that the lead counsel in the case Amar Nath Yadav passed away untimely on July 31.
The counsels said that the file related to the case has not been received as it is still in the chamber of the deceased lawyer and hence they could not prepare for the hearing.
They requested the court to defer the hearing and sought 15 days time.
Vishvesha then fixed August 18 as the next date of hearing.
The Muslim side was to present it’s rejoinder on the submissions made by the counsels of the Hindu side.
