Girl injured in stone pelting by protesting students in Srinagar: Police

Srinagar, Apr 20 : A girl was today injured in stone pelting by protesting students in downtown Srinagar, a police spokesperson said here.

He said miscreants and some students of Government Higher Secondary School Nawakadal pelted stones upon security forces camp at Braripora Nawakadal in downtown. During this stone pelting, he said one girl, identified as Khusboo Jan, was hit by a stone on her forehead. She was immediately taken to SMHS Hospital, where her health condition is stated to be stable.
