Srinagar, March 10: Octogenarian pro-freedom leader of Kashmir, Syed Ali Shah Geelani was rushed to a private hospital in South Delhi on Thursday after he reportedly complained of chest pain.
As per a Hurriyat handout, Chairman APHC Syed Ali Geelani Thursday morning complained of chest pain after which he was immediately moved to the nearby Max Hospital New Delhi where he was admitted in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
“The doctors in the hospital conducted many vital medical tests including the ECG and he was administered oxygen. After the test results, the doctors declared the health condition of Geelani Sahab as stable. APHC leaders immediately rushed an official team comprising of Personal Secretary to Chairman Peer Saifullah, Hurriyat Spokesman Ayaz Akbar and Senior Hurriyat leader Raja Mehraj-ud-din to New Delhi. The APHC spokesman humbly appealed the people to pray for the speedy recovery of Geelani Sahab.” (CNS)
