Srinagar, October 3 : Senior Hurriyet leader and Chairman of Anjuman-e- Sharie Shian, Agha Syed Hassan Al-Moosvi Al-Safvi has said that the Kashmir movement could be taken to its logical conclusion by strengthening the Hurriyet forum under leadership of Syed Ali Geelani.
Agha Syed Hassan Al-Moosvi Al-Safvi in a media statement said that the movement could be given a new dimension by unity and strengthening forum led by Syed Ali Geelani. He said that Syed Ali Geelani was a dedicated Hurriyet leader and the liberation movement could be taken to its logical conclusion under his dynamic leadership.
Agha Hassan hailing the historical speech delivered by Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in the UNGA said it was a clear proof that Pakistan wanted peaceful and cordial relations with its neighbours. He said that the world community must respond in a positive way to the offer and viewpoint put forward by Pakistan adding that Kashmir was the oldest dispute pending with the UN and the Kashmiri people were facing severe problems due to the unresolved dispute.
He said that India should understand that it could not dictate terms to its neighbour and that stubbornness in no way could help ensure peace in the region. Senior Hurriyat (g) leader and president of J&K Anjuman-e-Sharie Shian, Aga Syed Hassan Thursday termed the statement of Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharief at UN General Assembly as a determination of reconciliatory spirit.
