Farooq Khan resigns as Advisor, Likely to get major political role

Srinagar, Mar 20 : In a big development, Advisor to LG of Jammu and Kashmir Farooq Khan on Sunday evening submitted his resignation to the Ministry of Home Affairs to take up an important political assignment in view of Assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir.

On the other hand , Farooq Khan confirmed that he has put in his papers.

It is revealed that Khan submitted his resignation after discussions with top BJP leadership.

It is worth mentioning here that Advisor to LG of J&K Farooq Khan is being given an important assignment in BJP in view of likely assembly elections in J &K.

With this development it looks assembly elections are near in Jammu and Kashmir.
