Srinagar: The Peoples Political Party (PPP), Chairman, Engineer Hilal Ahmad War, has expressed good wishes and congratulated the Government and people of Pakistan on the occasion of 73rd Pakistan Day, falling Saturday, pointed out that the demand for a separate homeland by the Muslim League in 1940 was of monumental significance, which opened a new chapter in the South Asian in general and Muslim World in particular.
Senior pro freedom leader and Chairman, PPP, Engineer Hilal Ahmad War in a statement in Srinagar on behalf of the Kashmiri people thanked the Pakistani nation for its unflinching diplomatic, moral and political support to their just cause of freedom. Mr. War said that friendly relations between Pakistan and India could not be established without resolution of the Kashmir dispute.
The PPP leader said the Pakistan was facing different challenges and was passing through a critical phase. He said as a result of ill-advised Kashmir Policy pursued by the government of Pakistan damaged the Kashmir case at international level. He vowed to continue his struggle for the rights of self-determination the people of Kashmir in order to translate the dream (Greater Pakistan) of Shaheed Z.A. Bhutto into reality.
The PPP Chairman, urged the Govt.of Pakistan to formulate a Kashmir Policy in accordance with the letter and spirit of Shaheed Z.A.Bhutto’s Kashmir Policy. The PPP also disfavored and disapproved the proposed idea of showing any flexibility by Govt. of Pakistan with regard to settlement of Kashmir Dispute, as such a flexibility is bound to cause irreparable damage to Kashmir Cause and shall adversely affect Kashmir Liberation Movement which has so far taken heaviest toll of life, honour and property of the masses and activists in the entire J & K State.
PPP Chief, said that the Kashmiris wanted to see a strong, stable and prosperous Pakistan and hoped that it would continue its support to the people of Kashmir in securing their right to self-determination as enshrined in UN Charter. (KMW News)
