Doda: District Committee discusses applications seeking Change of Land Use

DODA, DECEMBER 04: Deputy Commissioner Doda Harvinder Singh today chaired a meeting of key officials of different departments to discuss the applications received online seeking change of land use.

The DC enquired about the status of NOCs being issued in the favour of the online applicants, the applications received online till date, besides their reporting and follow up status by the concerned departments.

It is pertinent to mention here that the new guidelines have been issued to regulate the uncontrolled conversion of agricultural land for non-agricultural purposes on the one hand and keep up the developmental aspirations of the UT and the people on the other hand.

It was informed that this month, only one application was received online from the Bhaderwah area for the establishment of poultry farm, and all the required NOCs stand issued in favour of the applicant.

The committee approved the case received from the Bhaderwah area for the use of land for the Poultry Farming after thorough deliberations and discussion.

The meeting was attended by ADC Bhaderwah, ACR Doda, District Officer PCB, DFO Bhaderwah, and other concerned officials.
