Div Com reviews availability of Spray oil, fertilizers, pesticides

SRINAGAR, MARCH 10:- Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Dr. Asgar Hassan Samoon,reviewed status of distribution of tree spray oil, fertilizers and pesticides in Kashmir Division. Director, Agriculture Kashmir conveyed that there is a target of 60 lakh litres of winter spray and 37 lakh litres of summer spray fixed to three oil companies.
Director, Agriculture informed that 56.21 lakh litres are available for distribution, 8.26 lakh litres are in transit and total 64.47 lakh litres are available as on date. Besides there are 5900 MTs requirement of pesticides for current year against which 1450 MTs is the availability within the department.
While reviewing stock of fertilizers, it was informed that 31,263
MTs of Urea, 22175 MTs of OAP and 6356 MTs of MOP are available for farmers at present.
Divisional Commissioner Kashmir directed all line Departments to make available tree spray oil, fertilizers and pesticides to the farmers so that they may not face any difficulty.
