DODA: The District Level Monitoring Committee for monitoring the programmes and advertisements telecasted by Cable TV channels in the District, 
Senior Superintendent of Police Mr. Mohd. Arif Rishu, Chief Planning Officer, Dr. Yassir Balwan, representative of Govt. Degree College, Bhaderwah, besides representatives of NGOs and Dr. Zia Mughal as member of the District Level Committee attended the meeting.
The meeting discussed various issues pertaining to telecast, registration, and related matters of the Cable Amendment Act-2012 besides deliberating upon present status of Cable TV Channels and their operating in the district.
The DDC stressed upon the members of the committee to share necessary information about the subject and accordingly come up with suggestions to be discussed in the subsequent meetings for improving and upgrading the cable network functioning in the district.
He emphasized on public involvement in the shape of opinions and suggestions to improve telecast standards and make the programmes purposeful and meaningful for general public interest.
The DDC directed for putting in place a constant communication mechanism between the Committee.
Deliberating on various issues, the members gave their suggestions and underlined the need for making Cable TV Channels programmes more educative and purposeful. (KMW News)
