SRINAGAR, MARCH 17: Several deputations from different parts of Kashmir Thursday called on the Advisor to Governor, Khurshid Ahmad Ganai here and apprised him about issues confronting them.
Issues pertained to road connectivity, flood relief, health services and other day-to-day public concerns were put forth by the delegations. The Advisor gave patient hearing to the issues and demands put forth by the deputations and asked the concerned authorities to take immediate measure for time bound redressal of the same.
Deputations of daily-wagers of PHE, Irrigation & Flood Control, Social Welfare and other departments also apprised him of their issues pertaining to regularization and promotions. An association of Helpers working in ICDS demanded release of their pending salary.
The Advisor assured them that their issues will be resolved at the earliest.
The deputations which also met the Advisor included members of Auqaf Committees, Unemployed Graduates, Artisans, Entrepreneurs, Industrialists, students and others.
The Advisor assured them that all possible support will be provided to them by the government.
