Chairperson, Haj Committee Ladakh Receives 240 Ladakhi Hajj Pilgrims at Srinagar International Airport

Srinagar, June 26: The Chairperson of the Haj Committee, Union Territory of Ladakh, Shri Mohammad Ali Majaz, today warmly welcomed a group of 240 pilgrims from Ladakh who returned after successfully performing the sacred pilgrimage of Hajj-e-Baitullah. The reception was held at the Srinagar International Airport.

M A Majaz personally greeted the pilgrims, congratulating them on the safe completion of their spiritual journey and the smooth performance of the Arkan-e-Hajj (rituals of Hajj). He engaged in interactions with the returning Hujaaj, inquiring about their experiences and the facilities provided during the pilgrimage.

The pilgrims expressed deep gratitude to the Chairperson and the Haj Committee UT Ladakh for the arrangements and support extended to them. They appreciated the comprehensive efforts made to ensure their comfort and convenience throughout the journey.

In his remarks, M A Majaz lauded the devotion, discipline, and exemplary conduct shown by the pilgrims during Hajj. He reiterated the committee’s commitment to continuously improving services and support for future pilgrims.

Also present on the occasion were Dr. Shujhat Qureshi, Executive Officer of the J&K Haj Committee; Haji Mohammad Ali, Haj Officer UT Ladakh; the Haj Officer J&K; and other concerned officials from the administrations of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh.
