Chairman J&K Bank meets Governor

JAMMU: Mr. Mushtaq Ahmad, Chairman, Jammu and Kashmir Bank, called on Mr. N. N. Vohra, Governor, at Raj Bhavan, here today.

During the meeting, Mr. Ahmad informed the Governor about the measures being taken by the J&K Bank to advance loans to the un-employed youth for establishing their own ventures under various self-employment schemes.
The Governor congratulated Mr. Mushtaq Ahmad on the recently reported operational results of the Bank during the current Financial Year and stressed the vital role that the Bank must play, on a much larger scale, for speeding up all round growth and development in the State. (KMW News)
