CEC Kargil Makes Surprise Inspection of District Hospital

Kargil, November 04: Chairman and Chief Executive Councillor, LAHDC Kargil, Dr. Mohd Jaffer Akhoon, conducted a surprise inspection of the District Hospital Kargil to review the healthcare facilities being provided to patients.

During the visit, Dr. Akhoon inspected various wards, assessed the availability of medical services, and reviewed the heating arrangements within the hospital premises. He expressed satisfaction over the overall functioning of the hospital and the availability of essential facilities.

The CEC also interacted with several patients to take firsthand feedback on the availability of medicines and the quality of medical care being provided.

Dr. Akhoon directed the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) and the Medical Superintendent (MS) to ensure that heating systems remain operational during morning and evening hours to provide comfort to patients. He further instructed that one doctor must remain on duty at the casualty ward and another in the labour room and wards during night hours to ensure uninterrupted medical services.
