CCG Delegation Meets Mirwaiz Umar Farooq in Srinagar; Discusses Peace, Dialogue, and Public Concerns

Srinagar, November 01: A delegation of the Concerned Citizens’ Group (CCG) led by former Union Minister Yashwant Sinha, and comprising Air Vice Marshal (Retd.) Kapil Kak, senior journalist Bharat Bhushan, and social activist Sushobha Barve, met Mirwaiz-e-Kashmir Dr. Moulvi Muhammad Umar Farooq at his residence.

In a statement issued to the Kashmir Media Watch, During the interaction, the overall situation in Jammu and Kashmir and matters of public concern were discussed. The conversation also touched upon issues such as the need for sustained engagement, addressing humanitarian aspects including the situation of political detainees, and the importance of easing public hardships.
