Cabinet orders transfers, postings

Jammu: The State Cabinet which met here today under the Chairmanship of Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah approved following transfers and postings.
Mr. Iqbal Khandey, Principal Secretary to Government Agriculture Production Department has been transferred and posted as Principal Secetary to Government, Finance Department vice Mr. Sudhanshu Pandey.
Mr. Sudhanshu Pandey, Principal Secretary to Government Finance Department has been transferred and posted as Principal Secretary to Government Power Development Department vice Basharat Ahmad Dhar.
Mr. Basharat Ahmad Dhar, Commissioner Secretary to Government, Power Development Department has been transferred and posted as Managing Director, J&K State Power Development Corporation vice Mr. Shaleen Kabra.
Mr. Shaleen Kabra, Managing Director, J&K State Power Development Corporation has been transferred and posted as Commissioner Secretary to Government, Animal and Sheep Husbandry Department vice Mr. B. D. Sharma.
Mr. Naveen Chowdhary, awaiting orders of posting in the General Administration Department has been posted as Commissioner Secretary to Government Agriculture Production Department vice Mr. M. Iqbal Khandey.
Mr. B. D. Sharma, Commissioner Secretary to Government, Animal and Sheep Husbandry Department holding the additional charge of Public Health Engineering, Irrigation and Flood Control Department has been transferred and posted as Commissioner Secretary to Government, Public Health Engineering, Irrigation and Flood Control Department on full time basis.
Syed Fazalullah, Transport Commissioner, J&K has been transferred and posted as Registrar, J&K Cooperative Societies vice Mr. M. Abbas Dar.
Mr. Pradeep Gupta, Commissioner Secretary to Government, Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution Department holding the additional charge of Transport Department has been transferred and posted as Commissioner Secretary to Government, Transport Department on full time basis.
Mrs. Sarita Chauhan, Special Secretary to Government, Power Development Department has been transferred and posted as Vice Chairman, Jammu Development Authjority vice Mr. Vinod Sharma.
Mr. M. Abbas Dar, Registrar, J&K Cooperative Societies has been transferred and posted as Secretary to Government, Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution Department vice Mr. Pradeep Cupta.
Mr. Saurabh Bhagat, Director Technical Education has been transferred and posted as Chief Executive Officer, Economic Reconstruction Agency (ERA) relieving Mr. B. B. Vyas, Principal Secretary to Hon’ble Chief Minister of the additional Charge of the said post. Mr. J. P. Singh, Director, Youth Services and Sports shall hold the additional charge of the post of Director, Technical Education till further orders.
Mr. Pandurang Pole, Deputy Commissioner, Reasi has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Udhampur vice Mr. Baseer Ahmad Khan.
Mrs. Sheetal Nanda, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Jammu has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Reasi, vice Mr. Pandurang Pole.
Mr. Mehraj Ahmad Kakroo, Deputy Commissioner, Srinagar has been transferred and posted as Transport Commissioner, J&K, vice Mr. Syed Fazalullah.
Mr. Baseer Ahmad Khan, Deputy Commissioner, Udhamput has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Srinagar vice Mr. Mehraj Ahmad Kakroo.
Mr. Vinod Sharma, Vice Chairman, Jammu Development Authority has been transferred and posted as Director, Safeguards, Economic Reconstruction Agency (ERA) against an available vacancy.
The Cabinet also approved the promotion of Mr. P. K. Tripathi and Mr. Sudhanshu Pandey to higher administrative grade (67000-79000) of IAS with effect from 24.11.2011.
The Cabinet also approved the promotion of Mrs. Dilshada Khan to the super time scale of KAS.
The Cabinet also approved the promotion of Mr. Mohammad Rajab Sholla as Chief Engineer on substantive basis.
