Salaries of LAHDC members hiked .

JAMMU: The State Cabinet which met here today under the chairmanship of Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah has ordered following transfers and postings in the State Administration.
Ms Tanveer Jehan, Commissioner/ Secretary Higher Education Department will hold the additional charge of the post of Commissioner Secretary, Health and Medical Education Department on superannuation of Mr. G. A. Peer.
Mr. G. R. Bhagat, , Secretary in the Planning and Development Department has been transferred and posted as Secretary Cooperatives Department on superannuation of Mr Abdul Hamid Wani. He will also hold the additional charge of the post of the Secretary in the Planning and Development Department.
Mr Arun Sharma, Executive Director, Mubark Mandi Heritage Society Jammu, has been transferred and posted as Director Libraries against an available vacancy. The charge of the post of Executive Director, Mubark Mandi Heritage Society, will be held by the Director Tourism Jammu in addition to his own duties.
Mr. Mohammad Hussain Bhatti, Additional District Development Commissioner, Rajouri has been transferred and posted as Director Social Welfare Jammu on superannuation of Mr. Mehmood Rana.
The Cabinet also gave its nod to the amendments in Code of Criminal Procedure (Amendment) Bill 2012 and Jammu and Kashmir General Sales Tax Act, 1962.
The cabinet also approved the enhancement of salary and allowances of Chairman/ Chief Executive Councilors and Executive Councilors of Ladakh Autonomous Hill development Council Leh and Kargil. (KMW NEWS)
