In a press statement issued to press here Inqilabi said “our hearts are grieved over this tragedy. This may be part of a bigger conspiracy.”
He said it is the duty of pro-freedom leaders and ulemas to ascertain the facts behind the tragedy.
MeA patron condemned the attack on pro-freedom leaders near Khanyar.
“It is a criminal assault. The way Shabir Shah, Nayeem Khan, Javaid Mir and Muhammad Yousuf Naqash were attacked it looks Indian government doesn’t want peaceful resistance movement here,” he said.
Commenting on his proposed restructuring proposal for Hurriyat Inqilabi said “Mirwaiz Umar Farooq should disband executive and general council.”
“Instead of two-tier system, majlise shoura (consultative council) should be constituted. Shabir Shah, Nayeem Khan, Javaid Mir and Muhammad Yousuf Naqash are stressing on the same point,” he added.
Inqilabi asked Veteran pro-freedom leader Syed Ali Geelani and UJC supremo Syed Salahuddin to play a “guiding role in restructuring of the movement.”
“It is also imperative on Pakistani establishment to keep an eye on day to day events in Kashmir.”
MeA patron said “instead of looking for some escape route India should take Pakistan and Kashmiris into confidence for resolving Kashmir dispute.”
