New Delhi: Army chief General V K Singh finally lost his date of birth (DoB) battle in the Supreme Court and withdrew his petition today.
Gen Singh withdrew his petition after claiming that his honour has been restored in the DoB row. 
Lawyer of Gen Singh claimed before the media that the honour of the Army Chief has been restored following withdrawal of December 30, 2011, order by the Government vide which the statutory complaint of Gen Singh was rejected by Defence Minister A K Antony.
A bench comprising Justices R M Lodha and H L Gokhale disposed off the writ petition of the Army chief as withdrawn. (KMW NEWS)
