Srinagar: The Awami National Conference has refused to meet with the centre’s interlocutors visiting the state as representatives of Delhi Policy Group, in view of the Home Ministry’s refusal to implement their recommendations.
“The present situation does not warrant a meeting at this stage, especially keeping in view the Home Ministry‘s statement that they are not planning any mechanism to implement the recommendations on interlocutors report at presentâ€, said the ANC spokesperson in a statement to KMW News.
Responding to Delhi Policy Group’s invitation regarding feedback on the interlocutors report, the statement today said that the party has already put forth its point of view before the interlocutors regarding various aspects and issues related to Kashmir, including ANC program of holding of 5 regions Intra Kashmir Conference for peace and solution across the Line of Control.
