Ajay Kashyap is new Director General of Tihar Jail

New Delhi, Sept 29 : Delhi Traffic Police Special Commissioner, Ajay Kashyap has been appointed as the new Director General of Tihar Jail with immediate effect.

According to a release of the office of LG, 1985 batch IPS officer Ajay Kashyap has been handed over the charge in place of incumbent Director General of Tihar Jail Sudhir Yadav who is retiring from the job on October 30.

Mr Kashyap will take over the responsibility on October 1.

Mr Dipendra Pathak has been made the new Delhi Traffic Police Special Commissioner replacing Mr Kashyap.
Mr Pathak who is a 1990 batch IPS officer was till now working as Special Commissioner (operations).
