Srinagar: As many as 158 people, including 60 fresh guests from Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK) crossed sides in the Karvan-e-Aman bus operating between Srinagar and Muzaffarabad.
Official sources said that 60 fresh POK guests arrived at Kaman post, the last Indian military post near Line of Control (LoC) in Uri sector after crossing the Aman Setu (peace bridge) on foot this afternoon.
They said three residents of the Kashmir valley, who had crossed over to POK also returned to their homes after completing stay with their families, separated in 1947.
Sources said 14 Kashmiris also crossed over to other side of the LoC to meet their relatives there.
As many as 81 POK residents, who had arrived here in previous buses also returned to their home after completing stay in Kashmir.
The service was introduced on April 7, 2005 to help the families divided in 1947 to meet each other after both India and Pakistan agreed to allow residents of both sides of the LoC to travel on permit instead of International passport.
