3 more soldiers succumbs, toll 20 in fidayeen attack on Army headquarter in Kashmir

Srinagar, Sep 19 : With three more soldiers succumbing in the hospital, the death toll in yesterdays fidayeen attack on brigade headquarter of Army in Uri sector has risen to 20.
Four Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) militants were also killed in about 5 hour long encounter which ensued at 0500 hrs yesterday.
Official sources said that 17 soldiers were killed and over 25 others were injured when a group of four militants stormed into Army brigade headquarter near Line of Control (LoC) in Uri sector yesterday morning.
