Srinagar: One person died and eight others were injured in different road accident across the valley.
A Bus bearing registration number JKo1E/0484 hit a 3 year old girl Sadia Marifat daughter of Syed Marifat resident of Beerwa at Agrikalan, Magam, in the jurisdiction of Police station Magam, resulting in her injuries. The injured Sadia was shifted to PHC Magam where doctors declared her brought dead. The body of girl was handed over to her next of kins for last rites. Magam Police has registered a case in this regard.
A Tavera vehicle bearing registration number JK03C/6679 collided with an Army vehicle bearing registration number OD-128670-N near Sampora on the NHW, falling under the jurisdiction of Panthachowk resulting in injuries to four persons, Khurashid Ahmad Najar son of Abdul Aziz resident of Seer Hamdan, Anantnag the driver of the vehicle, Mst Zaina wife of Abdul Salam khan resident of Seer Hamdan, Manzoor Ahmad Khan son of Muhammad Ramzan resident of Rambirpora and Yasmeena wife of Manzoor Ahmad. All the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment. Panthachowk Police has registered a case in this regard.
