01 die, 11 injured in road mishaps

Srinagar: One person died and eleven others were injured in different road accident across the valley.

An Ecco vehicle bearing Chassis number RIJ 23371 on way from Baramulla to Drangbal turned turtle near Drangbal, in the jurisdiction of police station Baramulla, resulting in injuries to 11 years old Somiya Basher daughter Basher Ahmad Najar resident of Drangbal. The injured girl succumbed to her injures on way to the hospital. Police has registered a case in this regard.
Meanwhile, a motorcycle bearing registration number JK03C/2925 hit and injured 50 years old Bashir Ahmad Najar son of Abdul Gani resident of Lazibal on K.P road, Anantnag, in the jurisdiction of Police Station Anantnag. The injured was shifted to Hospital for treatment. Police Anantnag has registered a case in this regard.
In another accident, a Bolero bearing registration number Jk09/51512 hit and injured 58 years old Zoni Begum wife of Abdul Karim Najar resident of Darpora, Lolab near Ganie Mohalla, Kupwara, in the jurisdiction of Police post Bazar, Kupwara. The injured lady was shifted to SKIMS, Soura Srinagar for treatment. Police has registered a case in this regard.
In another accident, a Tata Sumo bearing registration number JK01L/9356 met with an accident at Langate near DFO office, in the jurisdiction of Police Station Handwara, resulting in injuries to 02 passengers travelling in the vehicle .Both the injured were shifted to Hospital for treatment. Handwara police has registered a case in this regard.
In another accident, a Tempo Traveler bearing registration number JK03/4238 on way from Sonamarg to Ganderbal skidded off the road and fell into the Nallah near Nunner, in the jurisdiction of police station Ganderbal, resulting in injuries six tourists Preeti Bonslay , Depti Durbatkar, Seema Naik , Ashwani Shidgoankar, Mirdul and Chander Mohan residents of Goa. All the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment. Ganderbal police has registered a case in this regard.
In another accident, an Indigo car bearing registration number Jk01L/2794 hit a scooter bearing registration number JK04B/4909 near Tulsi Bagh crossing, in the jurisdiction of Police Station Sherghari, Srinagar, resulting in injuries to the scooterist Mohammad Saleem Matoo son of Khazir Mohammad resident of Alochibagh. The injured was shifted to Hospital for treatment. Sherghari Police has registered a case in this regard.
