PM, Cabinet Min declare assets, PM has Rs 5 crore assets

New Delhi: Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and his Cabinet ministers today declared their assets—both movable and immovable.
The list (2010-11) includes details of the assets of the Prime Minister, his entire Cabinet including 32 Cabinet Ministers, seven Ministers of State with independent
charge and 37 Ministers of State. The Prime Minister’s assets are worth more than
Rs 5 crore which include a house in Chandigarh whose current market rate is Rs 90 lakh. He also has an apartment in Vasant Kunj in Delhi which has a market rate of Rs 88.67 lakh. His bank deposits amount to Rs 3.2 crore. Urban Development Minister Kamal Nath is the richest Minister with assets worth about Rs 263 crore while Defence Minister A K Antony has the minimum assets including personal assets worth Rs 1.8 lakh. However,his wife has assets worth Rs 30 lakh.
